current transformer LMZJ1-0.5

LMZJ1-0.5 is a current transformer with "busbar penetrating, epoxy resin casting insulation, increased capacity and accuracy of 0.5". Its model meaning is usually interpreted:
L: current transformer
· M: busbar type (or "through type"). This is the most significant feature of this model. It does not have a primary winding, but uses a bus bar or cable to directly pass through the circular hole in its center to form a primary side circuit.
• Z: Pouring. The main insulation is cast with epoxy resin mixture. This process makes the transformer have good insulation performance, mechanical strength, moisture-proof and anti-pollution ability, suitable for long-term stable work in harsh environments.
• J: increase capacity. Indicates that the rated load (load capacity) of the transformer is greater than that of the standard type.
1: Design serial number. Indicates that this is the first design or derivative model of the series.
• 0.5: Accuracy. Indicates that when the transformer is used to measure the circuit, its accuracy level is 0.5, that is, the error is within ± 0.5%. This ensures the accuracy of the measurement.
Main functions of LMZJ1-0.5 current transformer:
1. Electric energy metering: connected to the watt-hour meter for the settlement of electricity consumption in factories, shopping malls, residential buildings, etc. This is one of its most important uses (requiring 0.5 class or 0.5s class).
2. Current measurement and monitoring: connect ammeter, power meter and other indicating instruments to display the current value in the circuit in real time
3. Relay protection: Connect the relay protection device or motor protector, when the circuit is overloaded, short-circuit and other faults, provide a signal to trip the circuit breaker to protect the equipment and line safety. (When used for protection, the accuracy level is usually 10P10, etc.)
Current data acquisition: Provides current signals for intelligent power distribution systems, energy management systems (EMS), or supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
